1. Define your Unique Selling Proposition (USP)

Take the time to ask yourself some questions from the prospective of the customers/clients.

  • What would it take to get your attention?
  • What needs do you have that need to be met?
  • What are the promises you want fulfilled?
  • What is your Market Dominating Position?

Once you know the answers to these questions you can start putting together a plan to meet these needs. Then take a look at what USP your competitors are using to help you develop your own USP. Your USP is what you are “promising” your customers/clients. This is what’s going to set you apart from your competition.

2. Put an effective sales offer to work

To develop an effective sales plan, you need to:

  • Put together a headline that gets immediate attention.
  • Share benefits of your products/services speaking from the customers’ perspective.
  • Identify the specific needs met by your products/services.
  • Make it easy to do business with you by offer guarantees.
  • Share your specific sales proposition.
  • Walk your customers/clients through how they should respond and act.
  • Motivate with a call to action.

What this all means is, you need to put together what makes your products/services special and compel customers to buy. If they don’t feel like they NEED your product, they won’t buy. You need to answer a question, solve a problem or feed an obsession.

You need to provide them with all the information they need to make an informed and confident decision. Buyer’s remorse is something you want to prevent at all cost.

Starting your own business is scary and a lot of people are afraid to take the first steps.

You are afraid you have to give up everything, that you won’t have a social life anymore and you will miss out on family time. Or you are afraid that you will loose all your financial security and that you would probably fail. Maybe family or friends will agree that everything will be a waste of time and money.

All this doubt and fear start to creep in and after the initial idea to start that business, your dream is crushed.

But the question you have to ask yourself is, is that the truth?

Stop making excuses for yourself. If you never make that step, you will never know if you will be successful. You know it will take a lot of guts to make that first move and to create that life you always wanted.

Who will be your future customers. Where are they living. What do they do. What are their interests. You have to decide who your ideal client is going to be. Who your target audience is. And believe me, “the entire world” won’t work.

Understanding The Economy:

Next you need to ask yourself if you understand the economy. What are the trends at this moment. Is your product sell-able? Who is your competition? Are you going to do it all alone or are you dive into it with a partner? Which suppliers are you going to use?

For both the most important thing is, do your research. You love your product, you want to share it with your future clients, but are your future clients waiting for you?

Are You ready:

I absolutely would never want to discourage you to start your own business! But…. before you begin you have to be real honest with yourself. This won’t be an easy path. You will have your ups and downs. It will be scary sometimes, but you also will have a lot of fun on your road to success. It will be hard work. You will fail sometimes, but you will also learn a lot.

Fulfilling your dream is something not a lot of people can say they did, but it will be worth it.

Do you think that starting an home-business is easy? Do you think that when you work from home money will come in easily?

Unfortunately both aren’t true. The only part which is easy, is actually starting the business. After that, hard work will be a part of your everyday life, if you really want to be successful.

You also have to be persistent to keep going. And you have to invest. In yourself and in your business.  And it doesn’t matter what you are selling. If you sell your own products, if you sell products from an Direct Sales company, if you sell from an MLM company, if you are an affiliate.

“Fast money” doesn’t exist. Some people earn huge amounts of money right away, but only a very few people manage to do that. Earning enough money to stop with your day job will take time. I know that when you start an home business and you become an entrepreneur, you will be able to earn money and even more then average money.

But to get there you have to change from an average entrepreneur to an extraordinary entrepreneur. 

Most people are average. I am one of them. Why? Because I love the work I do, but I am also not driven to make it an everlasting activity. I like to do a lot of other things too. I am happy the way everything is going now. I help people with their businesses, and that gives me enough satisfaction, gives me a good feeling.

But what if I want more?

To only way to get more is by becoming extraordinary. And when I am ready to make that step, I know I will go for it.

Making that step isn’t easy.

  • You need the right mindset for it.
  • You constantly have to step out of your comfort zone.
  • You have to learn a lot more about Marketing.
  • You constantly have to make decisions what to do next.
