8 Simple Ways To Charge Your Motivation Every Day

8 ways to charge your motivation

Do you know these simple tricks to stay motivated every day? These 8 simple ways are a good start to help you to stay focused and keep your motivation high so you can build a successfull business fast.

If you try to do something great, you’ll inevitably encounter obstacles. The more obstacles you encounter, the more difficult it is to keep your motivation at a high level. In these moments, you need techniques to fuel your motivation engine. Here are 8 simple ways you can supercharge your motivation.

1. Focus On The Things You Can Control.

When you focus more on things out of your control, the less motivated you will feel. When you focus completely on things you can control, you’ll realize that you can quickly and easily change your situation. For the reason, focus on the things right in front of you. Every day. Don’t waste your time or energy on things out of your control.

2. Constantly Remember Your Purpose.

What is your big “Why”?? Why are you pursuing a goal or dream in the first place? What is the big, audacious purpose that motivated you to embark on the journey? More time with your family? More money? Getting the dream job? To keep your motivation high, constantly keep your purpose in front of you. Write it down, so you can re-read it every day.

3. Celebrate The Small Wins.

It’s also important to keep the big picture in front of you, but it’s also crucial to celebrate the small wins. Remember, you climb a ladder one rung at a time. You’re reaching your goal one step at a time. Celebrating the small wins will allow you to see the progress you’re making and increase your motivation levels.

4. Act First, Feel Later.

One of the best ways to get your motivational juices flowing is to simply take action. If your goal is to read fifty books in one year, sit down and read a book for five minutes. If your goal is to lose 50 pounds, go for a 10 minute walk. It’s common for motivation to follow action. Once you take the first step, you’ll feel motivated to keep going.

5. Do Visualization Exercises.

By visualizing your goal, you bring the future into the present. As you visualize your dream job and all the benefits it will bring, you’ll feel your present motivation skyrocketing. As you think about what it will be like to double your income, the obstacles you’re facing will melt into the background.

6. Break Your Big Goal Into Small Goals.

Depending on your ability to focus, you may rather have a couple of small goals than one huge goal. So it might be necessary to break up the goal into segments that last anywhere from one week to 12 weeks. This way your brain can experience success and logically see a positive long-term outcome. You’ll procrastinate if the path looks too challenging and to long.

7. Repeat Affirmations Daily.

Affirmations help you believe that you’re going to achieve your goal. When you’re feeling overwhelmed, burned out, or low on motivation, saying things like, “I AM on my way to a healthy body”. This can help you to keep going.

8. Finally Surround Yourself With People Who Motivate You.

This last one is about one of the most effective ways to boost your motivation. Just surround yourself with other people who can motivate you. If you’re building a business, spend time with other passionate entrepreneurs. If you’re working toward a goal weight, join weight loss support groups. You need encouragement and support as you pursue your goals.

These ideas may be simple, but they’re profound. Put these to work in your own life, try them out one by one and watch the success appear before you.

The Do’s and Don’t When Following Your Dream as an Entrepreneur – Before you begin.

Become an extraordinary entrepreneur

Starting your own business is scary and a lot of people are afraid to take the first steps.

You are afraid you have to give up everything, that you won’t have a social life anymore and you will miss out on family time. Or you are afraid that you will loose all your financial security and that you would probably fail. Maybe family or friends will agree that everything will be a waste of time and money.

All this doubt and fear start to creep in and after the initial idea to start that business, your dream is crushed.

But the question you have to ask yourself is, is that the truth?

Stop making excuses for yourself. If you never make that step, you will never know if you will be successful. You know it will take a lot of guts to make that first move and to create that life you always wanted.

You can do it and I can help you!!

There are a couple of things you should do. And of course a couple of things you never should do. I created a serie of blog posts to help you on the way. This is the first one.

The first 3 things you have to look into before you even begin with your business

These are:

  • Do You Understand Your Future Customers.
  • Do You Understand The Economy.
  • Are You ready to start your business.

Understanding Your Future Customers:

Before you tell your boss he can continue on without you, you have to ask yourself if you understand how people think. What would make them want to buy your product. Who will be your future customers. Where are they living. What do they do. What are their interests. You have to decide who your ideal client is going to be. Who your target audience is. And believe me, “the entire world” won’t work.

Understanding The Economy:

Next you need to ask yourself if you understand the economy. What are the trends at this moment. Is your product sell-able? Who is your competition? Are you going to do it all alone or are you dive into it with a partner? Which suppliers are you going to use?

For both the most important thing is, do your research. You love your product, you want to share it with your future clients, but are your future clients waiting for you?

Are You ready:

I absolutely would never want to discourage you to start your own business! But…. before you begin you have to be real honest with yourself. This won’t be an easy path. You will have your ups and downs. It will be scary sometimes, but you also will have a lot of fun on your road to success. It will be hard work. You will fail sometimes, but you will also learn a lot.

Fulfilling your dream is something not a lot of people can say they did, but it will be worth it.

Are you up to the challenge??

If you are ready, I will be ready for you. I can help you take these first steps and help you start. Teach you important and valuable information (without costing an arm and a leg).

You don’t need an MBA to start your dream, you just need some basic knowledge.

Are You on the Verge of Business Burnout?

A burnout is a very real problem, especially for solopreneurs. Even though partnerships can have their ups and downs, at least you have someone to handle some of the stress and responsibility. Solopreneurs are by themselves and feel the entire weight of their success on their lone shoulders. This large responsibility often leads these business owners to work 14+ hour days and lose track of what’s happening at home with their families. But is focusing so much attention on your business a wise decision?

No, not if you want to achieve a work/life balance that makes you and your family happy. Even if you’re single, making time for self-care and relaxation will improve your overall health and mental wellbeing. Let’s talk about the signs to look for that indicate you might be headed toward a burnout.

1. Insomnia. If your brain can’t shut down because you’re consumed with work, your sleep pattern will get disrupted, leaving you overtired, lacking energy, and possibly lacking the mental energy to make wise business decisions.

2. Procrastination. Do you cringe at the length of your daily to-do list? Did these tasks once excite you but now they make you want to crawl under a rock? Procrastination leads to missed deadlines and opportunities to promote your business.

3. Fatigue. The human body is only capable of handling so much stress on limited sleep. Certainly you’ve heard the phrase “burning the candle at both ends”? That’s what happens when you work yourself to the bone and don’t give your body and brain enough time to recover before starting another high-stress day. At some point your body will want to give up, causing severe fatigue and possibly other illnesses that will keep you out of the office.

4. Changes in appetite. For some people, stress causes them to overeat; for others, stress reduces their appetites. Neither extreme is good for your body. For optimal health and mental clarity, take lunch breaks away from the desk and choose natural, healthy food choices instead of fast food items.

5. Anxiety. High stress causes anxiety, which can cause crippling fear or other physical symptoms. Keep in mind: there’s a big difference between the anxiety you feel when stepping out of your comfort zone versus stress-induced anxiety that doesn’t seem to go away.

Think about this: as a solopreneur, if you are not physically able to run your business, what happens to it? Chances are, you’d have to close your doors and any streams of income you currently have will disappear. Let’s avoid this happening! Take care of your whole body, mind, and spirit. Take quiet time to relax. Get outdoors and breathe in some fresh air. Unplug for a whole weekend and live in the moment with your family. Reconnect with old friends. Start a hobby. The choices are limitless.
